That's what we all wanna know! The good news is that Mike Colter (who plays the superhero, Luke Cage) has given some pretty hopeful clues that we might be seeing him back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe again! He even talked about Daredevil: Born Again.

Has There Been An Official Luke Cage Return?

Nope, nothing official. The last we saw Luke Cage was back in 2018 with the end of his Netflix show. After that, things got a little quiet - there wasn't much Marvel news around him.

So what did Colter say?

It's exciting because he was super optimistic! Colter was saying that if there's a story, some way for his character to return, then he'd be totally down for it! And we’ve got the rebooted Daredevil series coming out, so it’s making people think: What if Luke Cage gets his own reboot too?!
He's happy to see all those Marvel Heroes from the Netflix series, like Charlie Cox in Daredevil: Born Again getting their shots, but Luke Cage doesn’t seem to be on the list!
This was just an interview. The MCU bosses, the ones who run Marvel, are really hush-hush. They’re the only ones who can make this happen!

Should We Be Optimistic?

You have to hope that the Marvel Studios folks are putting something together! Colter definitely showed that he'd be up for it! It would make fans super happy! Let’s hope Colter doesn’t have to wait as long as other Marvel characters have for their Marvel character Return! He’s got a super huge fan base for his role as Luke Cage, and fans would definitely be hyped to see his series come back!

It’s a wild world in the Marvel Universe! The Marvel TV shows coming out are totally crazy. But maybe Luke Cage will make a comeback with his powers soon?
