It turns out that it is still in line with the stories that J.R.R. Tolkien created.
What seemed like an extraordinarily confusing addition wasn't actually a contradiction to Tolkien. This information was shared with audiences by a special video from Prime Video on their Twitter, which featured Dr. Corey Olsen!
Dr. Olsen, who really knows his stuff as a Tolkien expert! It seems like everyone gets excited when a person with so much knowledge is about to chime in!

One thing Tolkien made super clear, was when he said the Wizards arrived at the year 1000 of the Third Age!
