Ever Go Too Far? Jim's Pranks on The Office
Jim never stabbes his colleagues for office fun, but some of his behavior in the job is definitely questionable. Most practical jokes are pretty innocuous. Jim's first practical joke on Dwight in The Office is stuffing his stapler in Jell-O, hardly worth any attention. But Jim's pranks get increasingly complex and obviously upsetting for the victim as the show runs on.
Season seven's Jim "prank" that most jumps out as being quite mean-spirited occurs when he brings a snowball into the workplace and throws it into Dwight's face. Though Dwight was caustic and nasty to Jim just before, such behavior hardly qualifies for a snowball to the face. Jim's trick on Andy hiding his phone in the ceiling is not aimed at Dwight, but it is also pretty rude, particularly given he does not tell anybody about it. Jim's immaturity would make many aspects of working with him difficult.
New Animated Short for The Office
Fans create a new Animated Short for The Office that shows Jim pulling practical jokes on Dwight that result in horrific new levels of bloodshed. Originally an American adaptation of the British sitcom created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, The Office first ran on NBC in 2005. Although the show's 9-season run revolves mostly on the antics of eccentric boss Michael Scott (Steve Carell), the tense relationship between Jim (John Krasinski) and Dwight (Rainn Wilson) is a vital feature since the former continually pranks the latter.

The Office: A Classical Examined
The American take on the British comedy mockumentary series with the same name is The Office. Filmed during their leisure and work, the show revolves on the misbehavior of a Dunder Mifflin Paper Company branch in Scranton, Pennsylvania, under the inexperienced and unconventional boss, Michael Scott.
A classic of modern comedy, The Office is a fun show that might liven even the most dull aspects of the daily life. The Office offers anyone comedy because of its likeable characters.
The scene in The Office where Jim pranks Dwight stands among the most unforgettable ones.
The Office's characters are not perfect people, hence Dwight most certainly deserves what he gets for being someone who would obviously be difficult to deal with for years. At the end of The Office, the two characters also come to peace; Jim even atones for himself when a full episode centers on his "gutenpranks"—resonant acts of compassion. Though some of Jim's pranks on the show may, perhaps, go too far, happily the characters never turn to violence.

An Other View of the Office
Unlike Jim's earlier more subtle and sophisticated pranks, the humorous short depicts the character deciding that stabbing Dwight will be a killer office prank. Dwight then stabs Jim in revenge, then with Michael's assistance both characters knife Toby.
The Animated Short offers a clever variation on Jim and Dwight's relationship. It demonstrates how far too far the pranks of the two characters have gone.
