Fifth Equalizer Season Release Date
As CBS has confirmed—The Equalizer is returning for Season 5—get ready for yet another season of exciting action and justice! The network's renewal for another season clearly shows its faith in the show, especially before Season 4 even started.
Put it on your calendars: Sunday, October 27 is the premiere for Equalizer Season five. But since CBS covers NFL football, the precise start time of the first episode is yet unknown. Not to worry, though, supporters! The Equalizer will drop into its usual Sunday night slot at 9pm beginning November 3.
The Fifth Equalizer Season Cast
Although the whole cast is yet to be formally confirmed, the Season 4 finale raised some important issues.
Marcus Dante, played by Tory Kittles, departed most significantly from both Robyn and New York City. It's yet unknown whether he will make a comeback in Season 5.
Liza Lapira's Mel represents another person whose future is unknown. Mel was rocked by her horrific experience in the Season 4 finale and left the Equalizer team to concentrate on her personal life. Whether she will be back with Robyn and the team is still under flux.

The Fifth Equalizer Season Story
The unresolved story threads in the fourth Equalizer Season finale prepared the ground for an engaging season five.
Mel's kidnapping at the end had a long-lasting effect and begged issues regarding her team membership going forward. She was eventually saved, but the experience was obviously horrific. Will she choose to give her personal life top priority or will she be back on the Equalizer team?
Marcus also made a life-altering choice at the Season 4 finale: he broke off with Robyn and fled NYC. Will Marcus come back in Season 5, or will his path with Robyn come to an end here?
The Equalizer: Legacy of Action and Atonement
Modern reinterpretation of the venerable 80s series, The Equalizer is evidence of Queen Latifah's unquestionable charm and the franchise's continuing appeal. The show is a gripping combination of moral conundrums, drama, and action.
Former CIA agent Robyn Mccall fights for those who have been wronged using her talents while also working with her own past and atonement. Viewers kept riveted to their screens week after week by this intriguing mix of action and introspection.
The show's popularity can be ascribed to its capacity to bring novel ideas while adhering to the central idea of the first series. Apart from enthralling viewers, The Equalizer broke records and exceeded the run of the original 80s show.
