Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Themysciran warriors are facing a HUGE Doomsday army in Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (as Darkseid had found ways to make countless Doomsday clones) before that main battle! It was truly intense; showing incredible displays of combat from the Amazons. However, Superman’s solution? Massive heat vision obliterating all the clones; creating an unbelievably massive but very brutal outcome!

5. Smallville's Clark vs. Doomsday (Smallville): A Brief but Memorable First Encounter

Smallville's take, this first live-action fight (2009), had Clark (pre-Superman) battling Doomsday. This encounter lacked significant duration and the plot's context and emotional tension did not build the same tension found within those other versions which used very specific strategies to impact viewers; emphasizing their use of various different creative devices such as musical and editing strategies. The brief battle results in Clark tossing Doomsday into a huge fire which then promptly killed him! That 2007 animated film Superman: Doomsday shows one of those iconic moments and scenes found in DC Comics: Superman’s death. They take terrible damage but bounce back; creating even more intense and surprising outcomes! And that slow-motion finale on the moon? Absolutely iconic and extremely effective!
