Are you ready to be put through the emotional rollercoaster that is SEAL Team?
This series brings viewers the hard-hitting experiences of those on the frontlines! But did you know David Boreanaz, who plays Jason Hayes, was thinking of leaving the series during the seventh season? This was a surprise but something that the creator of the series Spencer Hudnut knew could happen and he planned for an exciting take on the future!
The SEAL Team series gave its fans one of the best shows around for all things Navy SEALs, especially the lives of these military personnel, and the world around them. Fans will have enjoyed those incredible, fast-paced and high stakes moments! But it had to end! However, what was truly shocking is what could have happened, in an entirely new take on the series!
He almost had one of the most surprising exits but thankfully this never happened because the final episode made an impression!
Fans get to see that he stays with "Bravo Team" to carry out his duties on the frontline, to complete those incredibly difficult, important missions! He finds some closure, giving his fans and the audience the ultimate, powerful and unforgettable scene. If anything, this final episode really emphasized what he was all about!
Fans will definitely appreciate this kind of forward thinking! The series ran for a total of 7 seasons but had more in mind, to create the most amazing storytelling possible! And when you talk about a "Series Finale" it was quite surprising what Hudnut did as a creator. He made sure his crew could put together a memorable, fitting and complete finale for viewers. Hudnut had no idea this star was leaving, in fact, he was working on a complete vision for the show for the entire season before things came to a close! But then it came out that the SEAL Team series was cancelled during November of 2023.
The crew, including the incredible writers of the series, they were only 5 weeks away from filming. But that was it, this final episode, was left for them to complete as it seemed like that time was going to be used for more story-driven, cinematic moments and scenes.
The director, as a storyteller, put a plan in place to give the audience all they could! With the possibility of losing "Bravo Team" in future seasons, Hudnut had one big thing he knew could come to fruition- and that is why he brought the character, Drew (played by Beau Knapp) to this series!
What really stands out is that this amazing director kept thinking SEAL Team could continue.
If anything SEAL Team fans are incredibly lucky. We got a perfect ending! A scene that leaves fans feeling the emotions! It looks to bring together everything Jason Hayes was all about!
What Hudnut really managed to show with this incredible series finale, was a sense of fulfillment but with SEAL Team's focus on action and adventure Jason has an even greater sense of purpose. And for fans, this also had some truly moving moments!
Even though SEAL Team is officially done, there were so many amazing opportunities in its potential run.
"SEAL Team" might have kept audiences in suspense if the younger team members had the chance to shine and grow more, but with no more of these special moments in store, what we're left with are stories that continue to echo! While this series took on the military world. It's one of those show's that are full of action! They kept those great stories going but that really wasn't enough, those on-screen moments of those younger soldiers. And we have that powerful series finale! It was something the team pulled off.
The stories will live on but it's always a big hit when we can get those big releases that keep pushing the boundaries. Make sure you catch SEAL Team on Paramount Plus! It will keep audiences feeling those big emotions and bring a show that gives those moments of suspense to remember!
