Reba McEntire an icon of both music and TV has maintained a decades long career as both a singer and actress. She recently left "The Voice" and it has caused much speculation about her next plans with her time being now dedicated to the "Happy's Place" sitcom. This continues her history as a successful business women .
With over 75 million records sold she is known as one of the most influential and celebrated woman in country music. Her sitcom “Reba” was also popular showcasing her acting talent as well. With her ability to navigate through both realms of music and television, she maintains relevance and respect with her consistent growth.
With several hit songs, her career has had a long line of achievements. Her unique brand of storytelling and passionate delivery has had countless accolades and also made her a role model for both aspiring and famous singers. Reba is able to cross various categories by also incorporating pop and rock and has been able to keep her presence relevant for years.

The new television show called "Happy's Place" brings together a previous costar for her previous popular sitcom Reba, which is Melisa Peterman. “Happy's Place,” is a show about Bobbie, who inherits her father’s business a bar, but the premise comes to be unique when she meets a half sister she had not known she had. Reba has made many subtle references that honor her past roles during filming .
Her series premier on NBC was wildly successful having around 14 million views with a focus on viewers ages 18 to 49 years old. Though it was supposed to be a limited 13 episode series 5 additional episodes have now been added for a season total of 18. This gives promise for a long running series. This proves her popularity continues to be influential.
Both actors from Reba's previous work and past storylines are given nods to give fans an element of both nostalgia and comedy as they move through the episodes. In an episode, when her character wanted help running the local taverns anniversary she gets advice by her boyfriend stating that “decisions should be made on talent and talent alone," that pokes at the talent shows she has previously been on.
Reba McEntire will headline for the opening of the 2025 Houston Rodeo which shows her presence will make an impact throughout a broad range of different audiences in music and beyond.
The yearly event will bring an array of music across genres and it starts off with Reba before it moves into all areas of interest from pop rock country christian contemporary and Tejano musical artists, among others, showcasing her lasting impact across varied audiences.
While currently committed to "Happy's Place", there are also hints that she is willing to return to her roles at “The Voice”. She has also showcased more musical appearances with touring opportunities in her future showing that she may have much more to do and tell in many forms of art.
