Season 2 Filming Update

The amazing author Rick Riordan, who created the book series, gave us an update about Season 2 filming recently! In an interview with ComicBook.com, Riordan let fans know they are about a third of the way through filming. He stated it was going well and the team is making super progress!

Release Date Predictions

Thanks to the info from D23 2024, Disney is already planning the release for the Season 2 of the Percy Jackson series. Fans should anticipate seeing new episodes some time in 2025. Since Season 1 premiered mid-December of 2023, it seems likely that the release will also fall around December of next year. What this gives us, is the likelihood that post-production is going to need extra time, giving those that did visual effects more time for the fantastic world of Percy Jackson to really come to life!

Filming started in August 2024 and because it's about a third of the way complete, it could be finished early next year. This gives them time for post production that they are likely to need!

Fans may see an early sneak peak, somewhere around spring or summer 2025! Season 2 will showcase events from the second book of Riordan’s novel, "Sea of Monsters!" Get ready!
