Netflix's Man on Fire Remake: Cast, Plot, and Release Date

Netflix is remaking the awesome action movie Man on Fire as a TV series! The original 2004 movie starred Denzel Washington and was a huge hit. Now, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will be taking on the lead role, playing the intense character of John Creasy, a former special forces soldier.

New Cast Members Join Man on Fire

Recently, The Hollywood Reporter (THR) announced some exciting news about the cast. Three more actors joined the project. The series will give audiences something really exciting!

Alice Braga will play Valeria Melo, a skilled driver with family ties to a Brazilian gang.
Scoot McNairy will play Henry Tappan, a sharp CIA agent stationed in Brazil.
Paul Ben-Victor will play Moncrief, the head of the CIA.

These new additions join Billie Boullet and Bobby Cannavale who were announced earlier. Braga, McNairy, and Ben-Victor are known for appearing in other huge projects like I Am Legend (2007), Speak No Evil (2024), and The Irishman (2019), which further proves the remarkable amount of talent involved!
