David Corenswet's Superman costume reveal is parodied in a new Green Lantern fan movie. With many TV shows and movies under development at DC Studios, James Gunn's DC Universe is not too far off. First to show up in Chapter 1, "Gods and Monsters," Gunn's Superman picture will reinterpret the Man of Steel for the big screen.
A few weeks after Gunn debuted Corenswet's Superman suit, Mark Justice—who stars Hal Jordan in a new Green Lantern Fan Film—made a humorous parodies of Gunn's revelation by having his Emerald Knight dress in a suit-up like to the Man of Steel. Mat Luschek designed the image's artwork while Silver Tree Films photographed the picture.
Earlier in May, the Green Lantern fan project created ripples online when it unveiled the first view of Justice in the famous Costume. Given the great quality of the costume, many people said that Ryan Reynolds' Green Lantern movie ought to have done in 2011. According to Justice stated in a May 23 article, the Green Lantern: First Flight animated feature directly inspired the Green Lantern costume.
Justice also makes very evident that the Green Lantern fan effort is not meant for public publication. "It wasn't meant to be public. This is a certain person (s)' Costume screen exam. Justice said in a follow-up post that "We are now considering distributing the remaining two chapters of the first three of GL: Secret Origins to the public as well.
Like Corenswet's Superman, Hal is portrayed in the DC parodies getting ready for his outfit donning one boot at a time. Hal's Green Lantern suit-up seems to be occurring in space, yet an extraterrestrial attack happens behind him.
Inspired by a recent DCU movie, this picture presents a more playful rendition of the original one. Showing the Green Lantern's outfit in an other setting, the parodies image is equally awesome.
Among the most popular comic book series, the DC Universe sometimes rivals Marvel.
