Yep! You heard right - Doctor Strange is gonna make big changes to Peter Parker's story, with this totally brand-new Spider-man animated series! This news dropped during the huge D23 2024 Disney event! The trailer showed us the very start - it's a pretty wild ride!
Wait - what happened to Peter Parker's origin?
You know how it all went down with that radioactive spider bite, right? It turns out in the new show - it's not that simple anymore! Now we've got this epic portal popping open in the middle of Midtown High. It's not so surprising though - because everyone loves Doctor Strange's portal tricks, too!
Doctor Strange to the Rescue!
- You guessed it - Doctor Strange swoops in like a superhero - the coolest kind! It’s a new twist that really makes the Spider-Man origin stand out - because this kind of change is unique.
- Now there is this cool spider - from Doctor Strange's crazy portal - that bites Peter Parker.
- And we've even got Spider-Man fighting bad guys! Looks like he's getting ready for epic action. Spider-Man in the trailer dons his super-low-key suit to take on some seriously tricky criminals - including this really speedy villain.
This is not your average Spider-Man Story!
- One thing that is pretty awesome about this show is how they're mixing up Spider-Man themes with cool, updated rap remixes! If you are familiar with the classic Spider-Man songs, it's super cool, but they gave it a modern edge, and fans are totally going wild over it!
- This is the first time we get Doctor Strange getting in the mix with Spider-Man - not so surprising with all these portals. And what makes it interesting is how it's being animated and is totally going to make the story totally original and exciting! We haven't seen any new shows like this!
