There's been some friction! Since Mitch joined the cast, back in season 9, they had their moments of flirtation but it seems that they're about to hit some hard bumps in the road.

The story behind them, has to do with Mitch's complicated past, and a big issue about being unable to really share his troubles with Hannah.

One thing that makes their relationship tense is Mitch has kept secrets from Hannah about this troubling history of his childhood. This ultimately creates more conflicts when Mitch is accused of something serious: assault and malpractice, so they had to face their big issues.

These two just couldn't stay out of the world of drama and made things way worse for one another. Mitch even shares the reality of a tough moment but Hannah struggles to be on the same page! It turns out, in an interesting twist, that Mitch tried to keep Scully (another character that got involved) from doing the terrible things he did. That made fans super anxious, as well as made it a complex decision as he covered up what really happened for Scully as his best friend, when he realized he was terminally ill. What happens? Hannah takes matters into her own hands and tells the authorities, meaning Scully goes to jail! This made Mitch enraged as he made his way to his apartment, having a pretty heated confrontation with Hannah!

Hannah's Struggles

Both Hannah and Mitch face challenging past events and that seems to impact the choices they make, but for Hannah it brings up a difficult memory and one that causes tension in her relationship with Mitch!

Fans of the series might remember how Hannah faced a serious battle. As one of the very few to get addiction rehabilitation! Now, her story becomes one of compassion but one that brings her back to some challenging times she faced with Substance abuse.

The difficult past and how it's rekindled now for Hannah has her working hard to be a support, doing anything she can, to make sure Mitch isn't repeating the same mistakes that brought her trouble!

There's a disconnect between the pair and a constant feeling of misunderstanding because of this complicated past. Mitch doesn't fully express his problems and the two just aren't able to really be a team for their Relationship!

Where They Are In Life

Fans, watching this epic, romantic and tragic turn! There are very different experiences with Hannah and Mitch.

It seems that Hannah is going down a healthy path! Her career is thriving, helping others who face the same problems she did! In many ways, Hannah has evolved and has the chance for growth. However, for Mitch, he's at the point where his friendships are what matter, so much so that it caused issues! He still struggles with this and seems to be making decisions that really are against what he deserves and are against what is best for him!

It's true that they might have had some sweet moments, and the two could eventually mend their relationship! They could also keep running into the same obstacles that prevent Mitch from seeing things for how they really are.

Maybe Mitch needs to do some deep thinking, or a whole transformation. A permanent split between these two characters will bring more exciting stories for viewers.

There's also the fact that we should get an update for Chicago Med about whether they will have season 11. We have a decade worth of entertainment already! But with the story of this pair, and a great series there could be so many amazing and fascinating turns!
