There is now a concern for how long this damage may remain along with the uncertainty of local business recovery. She maintains her confidence that residents will unite. Past events like other natural disasters has proven it to be true.
She described Pacific Palisades as a tight knit community where family and community have value. That focus, she noted would mean they will all find ways to work through these issues together. As they previously have in times of crises it proves that there are positive aspects even within devastation. Malibu too is another town that she mentions will work alongside the Palisades for recovery.
Many celebrities with ties to this part of Los Angeles including Steve Guttenberg and Roma Downey shared their experiences of being affected by this incident. The communities that these famous figures have chosen to live in highlight the importance of helping others. They shared the emotional impact from the destruction including photos that show what they’ve witnessed.
All had shared their distress of what was taking place along with their requests for prayers. Jamie Lee Curtis also was part of the discourse by sharing the sadness from her personal losses in the fire. Other celebrities like Chris Pratt Mandy Moore all were noted with deep compassion from what they observed. With the addition of music and prayer support was offered in many different forms from different people.
The 2020 Glass fire was also mentioned which greatly affected her and her family during a very intense wildfire experience in Northern California.
