My travels with Superman have gently introduced bloodsport.
Emphasizing the early years of Clark's heroic career and his relationship with his closest pals, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen, My Adventures with Superman is a modern reinventions of the Man of Steel's mythos. Not to mention Amanda Waller and Task Force X, the first season saw Clark formally show himself to the world and use his powers for good once he found it was plagued by threats like Livewire and Intergang. Still, Superman has risen to the challenge and turned into the hero Metropolis needs despite with all these dangers surrounding him.
Fairly speaking, the man who fires the prototype armor does not use his comic book pseudonym. But it's rather clear that DuBois, a sniper serving as Superman's counterpoint, is meant to be Bloodsport. Fans could remember Idris Elba's famously terrible performance of Bloodsport in the 2021 The Suicide Squad. More importantly, though, Robert DuBois is most renowned for once firing the Man of Steel with a kryptonite bullet in their first encounter. DuBois's existence in the My Adventures with Superman realm could prove to be a major hazard to Clark.

In Josie Campbell and Pablo M. Collar's My Adventures with Superman #1, Clark, Lois, and Jimmy observe something is running wild in Metropolis. They follow it through the sewers and find that one of Anthony Ivo's prototypes became sentient and got free. Superman battles the armor, but finally a shadowy sharpshooter brings it down and gathers it. The man informs Superman the military has it from here and vaguely threatens Clark's buddies to persuade him to obey. Amanda Waller speaks with her enforcer Slade Wilson from a distance; he identifies the sharpshooter as a man named "DuBois".
Will Bloodsport repeat his most notorious attack on Superman?
For Clark, kryptonite is rather rare in the animated series and just minor slivers have been discovered. But as Superman grows even more strong, his adversaries are looking for more efficient approaches to handle him. DuBois has already shown he is equally as good a shot in this realm as in other adaptations. All it would take is a small amount of kryptonite and Bloodsport could readily eliminate Superman before he ever sees him approaching. Hopefully, Clark will be ready the following time he sees Bloodsport in My Adventures with Superman.
