More Andor Adventures on the Way: Season Two Teasers
Hold onto your lightsabers, because the "Andor" show is back! We've already gotten to experience the adventures of Cassian Andor on Disney+, leading into the incredible "Rogue One". This series, with "Rogue One" in mind, takes us through Cassian's beginnings and tells how the rebellion against the empire grows! And Season 2 of "Andor" is finally on the horizon!
Recently, the big news from Disney+ at the D23 event was a preview of the exciting new season! We got those juicy teasers and some info on what's to come. And to be honest, we already knew that "Andor" Season 1 was an awesome entry in the world of Star Wars! I've heard many Star Wars fans even say it's one of the best shows Disney has put out. Let's just hope that season two is going to live up to those super high expectations!
Season 2 Plot Tease: From Cassian's Early Rebellion to the Death Star!
The story in Season 2, it seems like a no-brainer, is gonna ramp things up, right? We've got our "Rogue One" endgame in mind (RIP Cassian!). That means it’s going to tell the story of Cassian going from someone trying to find a good fight against the empire, to a rebel hero! There's even some chatter going around that it’s gonna showcase how Cassian ends up stealing the Death Star plans!
Remember the last time the big bad of the empire, Orson Krennic, got in our way, that awesome and intense clash with Cassian? Looks like there’s going to be even more of this amazing conflict brewing. We know that they've confirmed that Krennic, the Empire's go-to bad guy, along with some others we saw in Season 1 - Saw Gerrera (a hardcore rebel leader) and our robot buddy K-2SO (one of the most-loved Star Wars robots) are going to be making a big appearance in Season 2! Oh, and one of the major things we'll be focused on is just how big the Rebellion’s getting. It seems like it’s all kicking into a serious gear, with more and more people taking to the streets against the empire! That means, of course, lots of action!
D23 Teasers for Season Two and the Andor Journey
With the return of characters from Season 1 and some really neat new additions to the storyline, we have a whole new world of awesome to expect. But it looks like the makers of "Andor" have gone all out and tried their best to hide those details. Let's just hope those little hints we've been given mean they've been pulling out all the stops to make Season 2 incredible.
From what we know so far, Season 2 seems to pick up where things left off: the rebellion growing and more protests breaking out. This gives us a chance to see some amazing scenes, from our favourite characters getting a lot of action to a deeper look at Cassian's mission and his motivation. Just like that last battle in "Rogue One," the anticipation is super high - just because we already know the stakes are huge!
An Expanded Universe for Star Wars and "Andor"
"Andor" isn't the only show that's making a big noise in the Star Wars world, especially since they've all but confirmed that "The Mandalorian" will be back for another season, along with more exciting TV series coming down the pipe! This means fans are really excited and looking for every chance they can to grab up any sneak peeks, like that juicy info coming out from D23. This all shows that we have more Star Wars storytelling coming from Disney+! With the galaxy’s a huge place and even more stories to be told, there's so much to look forward to.
More Adventures in the Galaxy: A Wait is Still Ahead
We're gonna have to be patient. Right now, there is no release date yet, just lots of awesome, intense buzz, with the new trailer out in December! This makes us wait a whole bunch of months. But just knowing this awesome storyline is going to continue just might be enough to get us through until we can watch Cassian's amazing rebellion journey once the new season airs!
Stay tuned! With these exciting teasers and some very big news for the whole world of "Andor" and the Star Wars galaxy - we know that Disney+ has been doing more and more to really bring fans closer to some awesome new storylines. The waiting is brutal! But it seems like it’s going to be totally worth it in the end.
