Hayden Christensen Clarifies Why Anakin Only Found Solace Following His Death
Hayden Christensen considered Anakin Skywalker's character development on the Ahsoka show, which brilliantly revealed why the show's rendition of Anakin was so unlike that of the prequel trilogy and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. "Anakin, he goes through a lot in his life and in the prequels he's a very emotional character, but in this, this is a post-life version of the character, so he's aware of all of those things but he's not emotionally beholdent to those things either," Christensen said. In this quotation, Christensen gestured at the manner in which strong emotions had always kept Anakin from achieving true peace and how, in the end, he was only able to escape those powerful emotions after his death, therefore posing interesting new issues regarding the character.
Hayden Christensen's observations on Anakin's emotional challenges in the prequels are accurate; Anakin suffered greatly as he was so emotional and never could ever really find serenity in life. Instead, his motivation came from emotions of dread, anguish, and wrath. Clearly, falling to the dark side and turning into Darth Vader worsened his emotional conflict and suffering. Given this, it's interesting to note that, as Christensen observed, Anakin could only discover full clarity post-life, when he was free from those emotions and could create some space between himself and the problems he'd experienced in life. Though his power to be subjective in life may have totally transformed his fate, that wasn't in line for his character. Still, it's uncertain whether Anakin discovered actual peace at his death.
In Ahsoka, is Anakin really at peace?
Based on the events of the Ahsoka TV program, Hayden Christensen revealed terrible but important facts on why Anakin Skywalker couldn not find peace in Star Wars until after he had died. Christensen returned as Anakin Skywalker in the Ahsoka show, first in the World Between Worlds and subsequently as a Force ghost. Though it also raised many fresh questions (and some challenging answers) regarding Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and their connection with one another, this show and Christensen's presence in particular were an exciting change to Star Wars movies and TV shows.
Anakin's presence in the World Between Worlds isn't merely one of a wise Jedi in the afterlife; rather, the sequences of the World Between Worlds in Ahsoka feature amazing events whereby Anakin flashes between Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader. Anakin even becomes totally Vader at one point, attacking Ahsoka and kicking her out of the flashback flow. Furthermore not quite obvious is Anakin's purpose in the World Between Worlds. Anakin shows up as a Force ghost at the conclusion of Ahsoka, but it seems to be a different entity totally.
The Value of Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano
Anakin Skywalker had many instructive experiences as Ahsoka Tano's master during the Clone Wars, and here are some of her most memorable ones.
Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker had a close friendship. It demonstrates how close master and padawan can be. Watching them choose their own paths inside the Star Wars universe allows the audience to see them flourish.
The Land Between Worlds
As Christensen expressed it, it's still to be seen precisely what Anakin's experience was "post-life." Still, Christensen's remarks throughout this interview are a lovely mirror of the trajectory Anakin's character has followed in Star Wars and a reminder of how well he knows Anakin. From Hayden Christensen's point of view, death provided Anakin a fresh viewpoint and maybe even tranquility in the Ahsoka show; indeed, there is probably no one better to talk about Anakin Skywalker.

Ahsoka: what is she?
Set in the Star Wars universe, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni developed Ahsoka, a Sci-Fi TV series. Rosario Dawson stars Ahsoka Tano as she works alongside Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), her reliable droid Huyang (David Tennant), and Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) to stop the villanious Grand Admiral Thrawn from resurfacing. Ahsoka serves as the animation series Star Wars: Rebels' live-action continuation.
In Star Wars, Ahsoka is an absolutely vital figure. The show enhances the rich tapestry of the planet and helps the Star Wars universe to grow.
