It makes complete sense that Mattel would try for a whole slate of toy-based movies, after seeing what Barbie could really do! The announcement for a View-Master movie was very unexpected though; and makes this production entirely unique, separating this adaptation from others within this series!
The View-Master has far more adaptation difficulties than, say, a doll! Dolls are inherently anTHRopomorphic – these could easily portray personalities! But that image-viewing device brings challenges to create a plot around those specific limitations. Yet the creators, Mattel and their associates show impressive capability in thinking toward a plan which has unique challenges which should certainly enhance the project itself! This makes us even more excited to learn more!
