Project Heaven Among Weir's most mind-bending books, Mary follows Ryland as he attempts to recall why he is in space and what he must do to stop mankind from suffering. Although it wasn't as highly regarded as The Martian, the fact that it is getting a movie adaptation indicates that its narrative would fit rather nicely on film. Apart from Gosling's leading and producing part, the movie will feature Sandra Hüller as Eva Stratt, Ryland's supervisor, as another significant character. This suggests that Earth will be as crucial regardless its geographical context.

Apart from The Martian and Project Hail Mary, Andy Weir has developed Artemis, which will also be featured in a film version in due course.
The popularity of The Martian has provided Weir with chances. Many spectators were inspired by the book, and its film rendition was hailed. Many enthusiasm has also been generated by Weir's prior novel adaptations.
Gosling has starred in a wide spectrum of Movies, hence he will be pretty natural in assuming the role of Rye. But the narrative will have to strike a special mix of hope against the almost impossible to work as he seeks to discover how to preserve mankind - and what he's firstly doing to save them.
