Action-packed thriller "Nobody" fans will be happy to learn Christopher Lloyd will be returning as David Mansell, Hutch Mansell's father, in the forthcoming sequel, "Nobody 2." This announcement matches the earlier one stating Connie Nielsen, Hutch's wife, will be returning as Becca Mansell.
Particularly in the later half as Hutch's war against the mafia intensified, David Mansell was instrumental in the first film. David, a former FBI agent, highlighted his knowledge by using it to hold his own in-house during shootouts. Although the specifics of the story for "Nobody 2" are yet unknown, David's inclusion implies that the sequel will look at the Mansell family's relationship to the continuous conflict.
Renowned for his portrayal of Saul Goodman in "Better Call Saul," Bob Odenkirk shocked viewers with his performance as the apparently normal dad turned violent vigilante Hutch Mansell. Critics praised his convincing performance of a former assassin and his commitment to the fight choreography. Returning to "Nobody 2," Odenkirk promises to provide the sequel his trademark intensity.
The ensemble of "Nobody 2" is looking to be rather outstanding. Apart from Bob Odenkirk, Connie Nielsen, and Christopher Lloyd, the movie boasts Sharon Stone as the villain. Renowned for her performances in films such as "Basic Instinct" and "Casino," Stone offers the project a great deal of experience and arresting presence. Although other first film actors—Michael Ironside, RZA, Colin Salmon, Gage Monroe, and Billy MacLellan—have not yet been confirmed, their possible inclusion is still under consideration.
Fans should anticipate more casting calls and updates in the next weeks since filming is set to start this summer. With Christopher Lloyd returning and Sharon Stone serving as the new enemy, "Nobody 2" gains still another level of mystery and suspense. The follow-up offers an exciting continuation of Hutch's path, so augmenting the achievements of the first movie.
