Fans might think "Monsters, Inc. 2: Lost In Scaradise was in the making! You've seen the Movies and may even think there's more coming up, but unfortunately, those are things that aren't confirmed!

This film got a "no-go!" The stories behind the whole project are incredibly sad! The ending could have really hit home and is just another story that proves the complexities of film production! It all started back in the 90s, when there was a pretty famous agreement for seven animated Movies to be released together! It was so successful!

Then everything took a change! Disney was working on this new animation company that brought those popular, nostalgic films back into view but there was one big issue. The rights to some of those films weren't theirs to make into sequels!

After Disney acquired Pixar back in 2006, it opened the door for some new creative decisions and a few ideas got to take shape again!

It was quite sad that it wasn't given a green light! "Monsters, Inc. 2" had some amazing plans.

If this story had come to fruition, fans would have gone back into a whole new adventure, and would've included one of "Monsters, Inc." most popular figures!

You might remember Boo and the special, heartwarming, unforgettable relationship with Sulley.

  • The planned story took us a year later. Fans get to see those doors again!
  • There was an effort to keep those doors archived but in that special movie! The idea is, Sulley couldn't get Boo off his mind, so Mike helped make her birthday special by bringing those doors back!
  • This brought some awesome surprises, too. There's a very strange twist as they head through those doors.
  • It turned out, there wasn't just one child but a woman who was extremely old, attached to hospital machines, all to find a very touching ending of Boo and Sulley seeing each other, in one last heartfelt goodbye!

Even for Disney/Pixar movies, a sad goodbye is always hard. However, they've always made the time to create moving moments that really resonate with viewers. It seems like those creative directors weren't happy with "Monsters, Inc. 2" as the "Lost In Scaradise" was one story that would make viewers want a few tissues close at hand.

It’s true! There have been quite a few Sequels that really haven't given fans what they wanted!

  • If you’ve seen "Cars 2, then you'll agree with this. And even "The Incredibles 2".

But those movies came about because people just couldn't get enough of some of the best Pixar films and they may not have been as touching or exciting!

Those that watch Pixar movies and look at their series, they will find the film had a big heart and took things in an extraordinary way.

  • For example, "Finding Dory," is about those important reconnections and reunions with family and those you love.

Pixar knows how to take the familiar and bring that back to make a moving story, too. But even those who love this iconic studio, some might agree that "Toy Story 3" is an epic. It even includes some awesome moments of saying "goodbye." There's an immense understanding from viewers who are always in awe of this movie and how Woody and Buzz end their adventures.
