Mandeville Canyon is known to be an affluent residential area in Los Angeles, that offers scenic views and natural beauty while being close to urban amenities. However recent events have cast light on the challenges those living within this area have also come to deal with.
Mandeville Canyon is located in the Brentwood area which is a very high end area in the city known for exclusive residences and has historically drawn in a great deal of people with notoriety. Mandeville is also known for a canyon aesthetic giving residents access to a mixture of peace while not being very far from the city.
High profile individuals like Harrison Ford have long had a residency within this neighborhood due to its unique blend of privacy and prestige that the neighborhood is known for throughout many decades.
The recent wildfires of southern California have reached areas such as Mandeville which was a high priority evacuation area. This wildfire has forced many to flee leaving everything behind them due to what officials deemed a state of emergency for multiple Los Angeles communities.
Many celebrities such as Harrison Ford, Heidi Montag, and Spencer Pratt among others all had their properties in the path of these fires leading to emergency evacuations and uncertainty. Some even having their homes be reduced to ashes by the destructive flames leaving only the memories to remain. Other public figures like Paris Hilton were impacted with a total loss of her home in Malibu.
The famed actor was seen in the area in contact with local law enforcement to obtain information on his own property during the peak of the wildfire activity. There were also a large number of residents doing their best to protect and care for loved ones through this stressful event which made the news as well.
The "Shrinking" actor was seen checking on his $12.6 million Brentwood property in a Tesla while seeking guidance from police. He then was taken by police to view his home which caused tension to show as there was high uncertainty for many in that time with what they may find upon return.
Many different residents of the area have now been affected by this catastrophic event. Thousands of homes have been damaged in this area where multiple fires broke out. Many have shared stories that show emotional distress with the total loss and the unknown of what tomorrow would bring with no immediate end in site.
