A world of special effects that has truly impacted the way that people create those on-screen cinematic experiences, and these Visual Effects artists (those who make everything look amazing) took a really long hard look at how this was created.

What was special, and not very widely talked about. Nolan did something incredible, as the movie, Inception featured the use of real-world, physical objects. In one of the more amazing parts of the film! The Mirror Scene used real mirrors! That's right, big ones! These mirrors, about 15 feet in length were so big they were over two and a half tons. These items! They added to the practical aspects, and even included the real-world objects, showing those behind-the-scenes details to highlight what these artists actually used to make the world that we see on-screen.

If you're thinking about what they had to do with this scene, you are not alone.

You might not know it! But a special technique was implemented. The movie had a great use of CGI. In order to truly make this look like a "realistic" movie. And the entire city! The Mirror Scene is so full of realism as it's reflecting those amazing visuals! That was recreated with great care. They even added that crazy wobble, making the illusion even more convincing.

The work really impressed them. So much so, they spent time trying to unpack what made it such a stunning sequence! They said the reflection and those little details are what made it a true art form! It seemed that the movie itself took an entirely different approach than many Hollywood productions and it seemed it made all the difference! They gave Nolan plenty of credit, as they took us back through time as they took this walk-through and gave audiences an amazing lesson!

What is interesting, they had to really take that extra step to go beyond the traditional Hollywood work to go beyond what anyone else was doing at the time.

Corridor Crew gave Nolan plenty of credit! They loved how much detail went into those details and this helped make Inception such an important movie for all who are in love with the art of movie making!

If there was anything that made this truly one of a kind movie, it was the combination of those traditional Practical Effects. They also incorporated CGI, in this masterful way to create an award winning film. Inception really captured what many were excited about! That it brought a new style that audiences hadn't seen before. It blended the best of both worlds!

What's special? This mix of special effects, including those amazing visuals that truly stand the test of time!
