Flula Borg Talks About His Potential DCU Future
You know that awesome, quirky movie The Suicide Squad? Remember that guy Javelin? Yeah, Flula Borg! Flula was actually asked by Screen Rant if he'd ever work with James Gunn again on some DC projects, now that Gunn's pretty much running the whole show over there.
Now, Flula didn't spill any juicy secrets about specific projects (damn!) but he definitely didn't shut the door completely either. In fact, he just said he'd love to work with James Gunn again! I mean, who wouldn't? The dude is basically a superhero movie wizard, and his Movies are just fun as heck. Sounds like the kind of vibe I'd want to be a part of too.
Flula Borg's Love For James Gunn's World
Flula says his experience with Gunn on The Suicide Squad was incredible. It's no surprise though - Gunn's known for being incredibly creative and always bringing those wild and hilarious worlds to life.
Honestly, the only downside of this news is we have to wait to see if and what Flula might end up doing in the new DC Universe. We might even see Flula again as Javelin, if Gunn throws us a curveball!
What Could the DC Universe Future Look Like With James Gunn?
Remember, Gunn's now in charge of everything DC, including the Movies, TV shows, even video games! We're talking a full-blown superhero universe here. And I have to say, it sounds pretty awesome! We already have the first project, Superman: Legacy, which is coming out next year, and Blue Beetle, another Gunn-project, already on our radar too! Gunn’s already building out his own version of DC Universe and I have a feeling it’ll be even wilder and more imaginative than anything we’ve seen before!
Gunn also revealed that he is going to be focused on telling stories in the DC Universe in a "unique" way, instead of creating "spin-offs" and "reboots." Maybe he'll have even more plans for those unexpected Javelin cameos too! Maybe, just maybe…
James Gunn: A Force In Superhero Storytelling
If Gunn's anything like he was with The Suicide Squad, and Peacemaker – which he also helped run – we are in for something incredibly wild! His work has made people appreciate more unpredictable, quirky stories instead of always playing it safe. He’s always taking those characters and those stories, and finding a new way to make them really cool and engaging. I think this could be a seriously huge move for the entire DC Universe, especially because Gunn already proved he can pull off that offbeat comedy!
There's so much going on, and with Gunn's vision, I feel like the DC Universe has a ton of potential! Just imagine, the future of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and so many other incredible characters, plus who knows, maybe even Javelin – a bunch of awesome characters coming to the screen in some very creative ways. I'm totally pumped to see what James Gunn does next!
