Avengers: Secret Wars will be one that stands alone in what it does as well as one that ties to several MCU initiatives. The MCU was traditionally split largely between its cosmic characters and those grounded on Earth. Once Disney+ was developed, various new divisions started to show greater clarity. Many of the past couple of years' introductions to the shared universe helped Marvel start to build particular enclaves within its extensive catalog of characters. Feige stated Daredevil and Spider-Man will be the faces of the street-level MCU; Ironheart and Vision tech space exists for the cosmic corner; then there is the supernatural corner.
Marvel has now started to fully explore its magical and horror elements, although the MCU has featured mystical endeavors like the Doctor Strange movies. The most notable such instance was the Disney+ special presentation on the Werewolf by Night.
