Keen said in a recent interview that although she was looking forward seeing the film as a fan, she wasn't in Deadpool & Wolverine. The actor remarked, "I mean, I'm really thrilled to see it. We all agree that the trailer is absolutely fantastic. I love Ryan Reynolds; I love Hugh Jackman; clearly, he is my second father, my fictitious dad."
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the Logan actress did, however, discuss her comeback as the Marvel heroine. Keen said, "I enjoyed keeping it secret. Along with referencing another Marvel star for inspiration, I had to do a lot of press for a job that I recently finished. Keen claims, "All the inspo comes from Andrew Garfield. Referring to the interviews of the Spider-Man actor before his comeback in Spider-Man: No Way Home, he is the master at this.
Will X-23 be a variation?
Time will tell which X-23 version this ends up being since it wouldn't be shocking if Keen is performing one of Laura's variants. If she could, though, present the version Logan highlighted, it would surely tug the emotional heart strings.
