The MCU Mask for Wolverine Gets a Better View on Lifesize Official Promo
New Deadpool & Wolverine products offer a closer view of Hugh Jackman sporting the recognizable Wolverine mask for the next MCU summer film. With just a few number of Marvel films scheduled for release, Deadpool & Wolverine is expected to be Marvel Studios' larger release in 2024. Jackman is acting the venerable X-Men hero for the first time since Logan from 2017. Many have been wondering whether Jackman would wear the cowl on his comeback once he is sporting the yellow Wolverine outfit. @slashbow just posted on X a fresh view of a Deadpool & Wolverine monument being used in Japan that would validate the mask being featured in the movie.
Two life-size sculptures of Jackman's Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool abound in the image. Wearing his iconic mask, Wolverine's photo provides a close-up view of his intended look in the forthcoming MCU film.
Why has Marvel Studios not shown Hugh Jackman's Wolverine Mask on the Deadpool & Wolverine Trailers?
Logan's comic book mask is included in the MCU promotion, but up to now none of the Deadpool & Wolverine trailers have shown Hugh Jackman really sporting it. From toys to the much-discussed popcorn bucket, the mask is still teased for the movie in all its manifestations. This could really be a benefit, though, since Marvel Studios might want Jackman donning the mask to be a unique event in theaters.
Jackman's comeback in Deadpool & Wolverine is quite significant since his reputation is unquestionably among the most loved in the whole superhero movie genre. Given Logan's death, dressing in the suit once more was seen in past years as a dream. If Marvel Studios wants the audience to see him wearing it when they see it in cinemas instead than have it be spoiled by images or small bits in Deadpool & Wolverine teasers, it wouldn't be shocking.
