A Ripley Easter Egg was confirmed for those who watched Alien: Romulus closely. There are a couple of places where you can find subtle mentions of Ripley, a great bonus for those who love to search for Easter Eggs!
While the Alien: Romulus Ripley presence seems like a big reveal, it actually helps tie things together within the timeline of the Alien franchise. These Easter Eggs won't dramatically change Alien: Romulus story because Ripley is not even present at this time! It only serves to highlight the fact that she may have already played a role, before the events of Alien: Romulus!
There are two specific details confirmed to be in the movie, Alien: Romulus Easter Eggs. The first details how Alien: Romulus Ripley ship (her Starcub shuttle) was in space near Alien: Romulus Renaissance station! This is part of an opening sequence which is how the Xenomorph ends up in space before being recovered. Secondly, her Alien: Romulus Narcissus (her transport) was in the film!
