Lord Voldemort, that evil Harry Potter villain! But you'll be surprised that one actor didn't play the character. So many people have played the bad guy because the whole story covers his childhood to his time as "He Who Must Not Be Named" - that's the super creepy Dark Lord! This whole saga needs several Voldemort actors!

You might not believe it but there are 7 different actors in Harry Potter who played Lord Voldemort. And now, since we have a Harry Potter TV series - that means we'll see more. Who woulda thought that it was a full on "Voldemort Family Affair"

How Many Voldemort Actors Were There in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone?"

The first movie! A really interesting start! Well, it was kind of two actors: Ian Hart played Voldemort as a spirit living inside the Hogwarts professor, Quirrel! Then there's Richard Bremmer's face for Voldemort - which was just CGI. They weren't on the set with Daniel Radcliffe but are definitely memorable actors, especially Bremmer - he has to be the one people will remember for being the first on screen, even if it was digital.

Who Plays Lord Voldemort In "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets"?

For a younger Voldemort - or actually a teen Tom Riddle - we saw a new face: Christian Coulson! He even played Tom Riddle when the movie was looking at Harry's past!

And The Main Lord Voldemort?

He has to be the most memorable! We're talking about the awesome Ralph Fiennes, whose role started with the "Goblet of Fire" film, and he became iconic in all those movies until "The Deathly Hallows, Part 2"!

It was pretty special how those two young actors were a part of the family, too, right? Fiennes' nephew Hero Fiennes-Tiffin actually played young Voldemort in "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince". And Frank Dillane, from "Fear The Walking Dead", had to do some great acting to make us feel the wicked part of Tom Riddle when he was in his teen years! It's those types of moments where Voldemort's real, dark side comes through!
If you've ever watched the "Lego Batman" movie, you might have also seen Eddie Izzard playing Lord Voldemort! That might seem weird but he gave an awesome voice to the Lego character, making a huge impact!
