Venom 3: Every Symbiote Confirmed (So Far!) For the Epic Finale!
Sony's Venom movies have unleashed a whole bunch of alien symbiotes on unsuspecting Earthlings. We are talking everything beyondTom Hardy's Eddie Brock and his special black and white symbiote, this entire franchise has explored other amazing symbiotes, expanding the storyline for this interesting movie franchise;from the very beginning. The entireVenommovie series – which began in2018and continues with the upcomingVenom: The Last Dance(October 25, 2024)—has dramatically expanded the lore for these alien creatures who have found their way to Earth. Let's be real – this entire thing involves a significant amount of invasion from various alien creatures!
These symbiotes? They're fromKlyntar, and they aim to consume worlds and bond with unsuspecting humans (and other creatures too). We see how things developed– from the original movie'sLife Foundationto brand new ones revealed in theVenom 3trailer–things only got more insane! Get ready, this article covers every symbiote (revealed so far). Spoiler warning – this article covers many spoilers!
Venom, the most famous symbiote of all, arrived via a crashing spaceship that carried a collection of symbiotes, originally captured by that now infamousLife Foundation. The symbiote bonded with journalistEddie Brockand prevented Riot (another symbiote) from escaping. They later defeatedCarnage, only to get involved in that incredibly short stint into theMCU(courtesy ofSpider-Man: No Way Home)! He's back inVenom 3, causing major chaos, adding various animals that also get attached; meaning the level design has been updated forVenom 3. Those include venomized frogs and horses which really sound weird and could add interesting scenes!
Riot, the silver symbiote, isthe main villain from that initial Venommovie. Escaping the Life Foundation's clutches after its original crash landing, he teamed up with that truly awful villainCarlton Drake. Their goals are closely tied– this shared goal resulted in intense conflict. He got destroyed; ultimately a pretty bad ending for the main villain from the first installment!
Anne Weying(Eddie Brock's ex) also bonds withVenom, becomingShe-Venom. She’s done it several times already! That close symbiosis made it clear the connection wasn't impossible – she became super useful toEddie! And yes, despiteVenom’s desirefor another encounter she totally rejected the proposal inVenom: Let There Be Carnage! It’s entirely unclear ifShe-Venommight return inVenom 3.
Carnagefirst appears as a sneak peek in the original film and later debuts as the main villain inVenom: Let There Be Carnage. It emerges afterVenomlays some eggs. They bond with the incredibly dangerousCletus Kasady, this insanely powerful pairing makes a scary, intense plot. Later conflicts however result inVenomconsuming that terrible spawn, creating this satisfying ending.
Venom: Let There Be Carnageteases the next threat, Toxin! In the comics,Patrick Mulliganis the first host. His glowing eyes inVenom 3’strailer suggest the arrival of this dangerous new threat; making an interesting sequel arc which develops an extremely critical aspect which is developed fully throughout Venom 3. He’s likely about to bond.
Remember that wholeLife Foundationexperiment? BesidesVenomandRiot, they tried using some other symbiotes (yellow and blue). Those things never bonded properly and resulted in many dead victims and experiments resulting in more animals being used.
That firstVenom 3trailer showed a huge change that greatly elevates those already high stakes. This government-funded organization had managed to capture some really amazing specimens. It shows parts ofVenom(presumably after theMCUvisit). Based on those images we’re likely to see somewhere around four to six contained symbiotes. These could be thoseAgony,Phage,Lasher, andScreamsymbiotes. It could also just be all new, unseen things! All that really matters however, these things are extremely likely to be actively pursued during the remainder of the movie and this entire arc is likely going to be one of the most intensely action-focused sections from Venom 3!
The ending scenes of thatVenom 3trailer, reveal something pretty terrifying. Klyntar, Venom'shome planet, actually arrives onEarth—bringing some serious trouble. Those massive amounts ofsymbiotesthreaten an overwhelming invasion; meaning an even bigger fight, with plenty of amazing possibilities! And this invasion leads to the introduction ofKnull– the creator and perhaps one of the most powerful beings across all ofVenom'slore!
Venom 3promises a crazy conclusion to that symbiote trilogy. Lots of unseen and incredibly deadly alien threats will completely redefine those existing limitations that the prior movie might've explored. There’s plenty more unseen monsters which would create some interesting dynamics and moments of intense violence, withEddie BrockandVenomfacing their toughest challenge ever. The sheer volume and power contained here creates another of those incredibly satisfying events and experiences for the audience.
