It seems like there's a little something special with how the series changed in more recent years, but as these numbers start to add up, they suggest that the popularity of the movie started to falter after Michael Bay started directing in 2007.

While the series is super successful! You can look back and recall just what some of the issues were.

  • Critics seemed to not really connect with the story! The stories about these Transformers really didn't have those deep moments and didn't seem to get a strong rating!
  • Audiences were attracted by these incredible robot battle scenes, and what was being created, became too repetitive! So while the Transformers saga took off in a super big way, over time it became predictable and started losing that sparkle. Fans of the series may start to wonder just what could happen next?
