While he was considered an amazing, capable actor, Tom Hardy had to overcome a huge obstacle to show he could truly pull off playing Bane.

But before he became known for the film. There were plenty of voices speaking up saying he didn’t have what it took! To them it was all about how "physical," he was! If those critics would have taken a chance and checked out "Warrior," well, that was his secret weapon and a fantastic way for the British actor to make a bold statement!
The Star Of "Warrior"
One movie really took his acting to another level! It’s something that will stay in fans' minds forever! You may have missed "Warrior" (that Tom Hardy movie came out in September of 2011!)
- Tom Hardy plays a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter.
- A compelling and interesting look at his talents as an actor, and gave fans a truly emotional take as Hardy showed how strong he could be.
In this film, "Warrior," you also get a side of Hardy you might not expect. You will have the ability to experience how much raw emotions can be delivered in such an incredible performance. It seems Hardy’s talent was just a little too overlooked and the critics had something wrong all along. It wasn't his physical strength.
It all goes back to those fans who said Hardy was too short! There was no chance he could pull off playing a super muscular "Latinx." He's definitely not what those folks imagined Bane would be! And how well Tom Hardy did this, while also giving audiences the movie's heart.
In "Warrior," he gave viewers that great dose of the actor's skill!
A Superhero Film For The Ages
It appears "Warrior has everything, but Hardy really gets viewers into what he was about! With a blend of drama, emotion and an edge of violence that helps make "The Dark Knight Rises" the unforgettable superhero series it is!
- "Warrior" may be a story about fighting, but those who have a good heart know, it was also a story of redemption and overcoming some personal issues. That sense of triumph, coming from adversity really comes to life and will make viewers cheer.
- And there was one of Hardy’s most interesting roles, which wasn't about Batman it had a different level of excitement. He appeared in "Mad Max: Fury Road" and he did what was thought to be impossible, he outdid all of his prior work, by becoming "Max."
It was that story, that brought fans back to see him! They realized he truly is one of those remarkable actors who has more than a few talents up his sleeve.
