A Hero of Sorts

We get to see Perempuan who goes on a super powerful, exciting and inspiring quest! As it seems that everything goes to a whole other level with this character. She is trying her best to protect a kid from the Prison!

She had the choice to make a super difficult choice- should she escape the prison. And escape her awful environment and become selfish to save her own life? Or should she give back? It was all down to Perempuan's conscience. It was truly a special, powerful moment in "The Platform 2" that is hard to describe but definitely an emotional roller coaster ride. "Perempuan really makes this movie stand out and the entire sequence is one that keeps fans talking. It looks like "Perempuan went to a level where it appears it was something like her conscience and it has this strange world of shadows. In her mind. A real-life haunting experience! And yet this crazy world brought back other characters, who may not be real. One character: Zamiatin. All these figures tell Perempuan, in an emotional moment, to do something impossible, let the child rise!

The Mid-Credits Scene Explained

At first, it looked like they all were headed toward an epic and destructive conclusion! They seemed doomed to a terrifying fate!

But there was more going on that makes "The Platform 2" a super interesting film to watch and discuss!

There was even more to learn.

There were scenes after the credits that made this even more mind-blowing.

"The Platform 2" showed us the end! This story takes a dark, twisted turn! The prisoners made their way to the very last level of the pit. While it seems everyone was about to lose, they gave back, as they managed to bring these children to safety.
It appears the administrators kept trying to have their way in these cruel and harsh conditions.

The administrators and the people running the pit. These people put another child on level 333 at the very bottom!

But here is an element to make The Platform 2 truly disturbing! We may not realize that there are actually tons of these insane prisons, across the globe! All following the same rules as The Pit, showing that everyone, even a helpless kid is a test subject, but why are they putting these children through the trials?

That's right. It seems to be this crazy world, just about social control. The kids become an extra element to the Social Experiment as if they were put there to manipulate the other people, who didn't have any power. So that the administrators could get exactly the reactions they want, in the long run!

We get to understand these powerful, horrifying characters are willing to go the distance to push others to their limits, to control the population in their own way!

The Truth Behind The Characters:

In the past, some may have just thought that these characters were misunderstood, they've also experienced so many hard moments. The Platform brought together so many characters. Even the story that Perempuan was telling at the start! The filmmakers have also managed to bring the backstory for her life out! There was an entire backstory to Perempuan!

In this earlier episode.
It looks like she is a gifted artist! This talent really shone through.

As an artist she created a special dog sculpture! The artwork got sold at a very expensive price. A lot more about Perempuan, she's known for being super strong, and even taking down all of her naysayers! She even found herself a top notch, impressive group of lawyers who defended her!

What does she say? That's right. The punishment really started to eat away at her. After it appeared she did an injustice by not protecting this kid she decided that "The Pit" was where she was meant to be. But as "The Platform 2" goes on. It looks like she realizes that she truly does deserve a redemption, and that was made more clear with the moment that her life takes a powerful turn! And a great symbol. This special artist swallowed part of a "drowning dog" painting which was one of the most significant parts of "The Platform." It looks like Perempuan accepts her destiny in a really interesting way by embracing this moment as a turning point. The moment that made her whole story!

That also led to Perempuan's escape. In an amazing and surprising moment! It looks like her sacrifices paid off. With this moment. It also reminded fans about what it meant for the entire movie's story as she's not a bad person. The punishment was about facing the wrongs that she created and finding that strength. It is clear that "The Platform" and the prison is a form of punishment for "Perempuan," but it seems she has faced down some major demons! You've got the most recent iteration in "The Platform 2" as an important story of self-forgiveness!

It also explores what makes The Platform 2 even more compelling-the way it reflects some classic stories from a powerful period in human history- "The Tower of Babel!" You've got an attempt from humans to get close to God. In the end, it doesn't work out. And in this movie it mirrors that as they try to do things that only create even more suffering!

Is There Going To Be a Platform 3?

The ending is pretty intense and is a hint to where things might be headed, or, perhaps something they might even do in the next movie if there is a The Platform 3! It's almost an open question that everyone is talking about. There were so many twists. But The Platform 2 may have brought a special question to the front. Is "The Platform" really about getting out? Or something a little more complex, and one that makes us wonder!
