Gyllenhaal, took on the role of Rachel, it appeared she also wanted to make this role more her own! Not only a new personality, but someone that had so much to offer.
Her vision for Rachel Dawes really shines! It added a ton to the complexity and what made this character even better! It seemed the character was more developed.

Jake Gyllenhaal is Maggie Gyllenhaal's brother and they share such an iconic name for their amazing families in the acting world. He was even one of the people being considered to play the caped crusader.
