The Lazarus Pit Theory:

You might recall that in this epic movie, there was a super special scene about the "Pit" a dark underground location. It's the very spot that both Bane and Talia al Ghul are jailed! It makes it seem as though it was something more.

It is important to remember that Bane did break Bruce Wayne's back! This means it's even more impressive that he got out and also shows his resilience!

Fans think, that what makes it even more extraordinary, is that it was a Batman-esque adaptation that borrowed the "Lazarus Pit" idea from the DC Comics universe. Those who have read those comics, might be in agreement, the Lazarus Pit was something that could bring a dead person back!

  • This famous pit is in the comics.
  • Ra's al Ghul used the Lazarus Pit and this power
  • There was another special character who also was revived in this spot! It is, in fact Jason Todd.

That is just another element! The film has a super awesome scene where Bruce Wayne had his back broken! This fan theory really digs into just how amazing the film truly is! Could Bruce have found a method of healing with the same level of awesome, super healing technology as the "Lazarus Pit"? It doesn't have to be so magical. Maybe Bruce has the knowledge to create something similar that heals people as he did, in the movie when he made it out of that prison, to make it into Gotham! This was a really interesting turn!

Did He Use The Lazarus Pit?

A really big question to consider: Would he really use something so powerful, especially before his journey ended? And while this could easily happen as he got his injuries after the fight with Talia Al Ghul.

You really see how vulnerable he was! Even more, there's this scene where he goes back to that prison and then takes off with the "Batwing" in this grand gesture. He tries his best to put an end to the threat that's taken over Gotham. That would mean something had to happen for him to have made it out and recover in Italy after this massive explosion.

This kind of moment makes some believe that he used this power of healing to take that massive jump off the "Batwing" and escape death. This could even have been some crazy form of technology and an amazing medicine!

For any Batman fan this would be incredibly exciting and is also an awesome piece of technology.

What was really so powerful about this idea was that the film had a realistic approach! We saw this in so many ways as Batman is super skilled and even with his skill he's vulnerable!

  • If he could just get up, after all those powerful events! He doesn't really seem so wounded!

Even in the comics, they had moments where a special force or event occurs, but here in this world it feels very realistic, so this theory may not really fit the vision. If it had taken place Nolan might have also given a clue! One that seemed so notable! That the autopilot in the Batwing, was in fact repaired. This also implied a great deal, that Batman escaped this intense situation! That might mean that a super healing process in the series would have been noted.

We all love theories and these exciting, intriguing ideas that are going to have the audience discussing! And the more complex the film is the more fun it becomes! That could easily be something for the ages as well as one of the best, most loved, and compelling movie series of our time.

And even as it's up for interpretation you can easily see the special impact this series has made! From the epic villains to the special effects and performances. It looks like these movie have a lot to offer those that want an entertaining movie. Maybe these theories just show us there's more that goes into movies than what's at first glance! And The Dark Knight Rises will continue to generate new questions.
