Shrek 5: Artie's Fate and Future Far Away
Scheduled for a 2026 release, the much awaited Shrek 5 offers a special chance to solve a long-standing mystery inside the Shrek series: the fate of Arthur "Artie" Pendragon, the unannounced King of Far Far Away.
Artie's ascendancy in Shrek 3
Justin Timberlake's Artie first appeared in Shrek the Third, a movie in which Shrek grudgingly accepted the responsibility of becoming King after King Harold, Fiona's father, fell sick. But Harold also revealed the presence of Fiona's cousin Artie, another heir to the throne.
