Does Shazam! Fury of the Gods Fit Into the DCEU?
After years of trying to build a consistent narrative within the DCEU, those watching Shazam: Fury of the Gods have reason to be confused as this release (as well as others) does not have a solid connection to those storylines that are connected to the universe's larger storyline. The DCEU Reboot - and those storylines that are now connected to James Gunn, has created a shift where a fresh continuity is the new standard. There's a lot of excitement over how this new studio's lineup - from its original creations, its take on iconic DCEU Characters, and an entirely new continuity - could reshape how fans are going to be viewing and, possibly even watching the franchise unfold, along with more DCU Upcoming Projects.
How is the DCU Post-Credits Scene Differing From Those in the Past?
While those fans watching Marvel Cinematic Universe Post-Credits Scenes may be familiar with this style - they are often meant to be an exciting element for a movie's final moments - there is an abundance of them throughout these series. However, it has now been decided by those working on the DCU to step back - with the exception of some Movies (such as "Black Adam Post-Credits Scene"). There's a more subdued version of those scenes to be included in the future.
