For the MCU, Red Hulk's entry in Captain America: Brave New World marks a paradigm shift. But a key flaw in this formidable adversary was subtly revealed eight years ago, allowing Sam Wilson's Captain America to maybe succeed.
Red Hulk's great strength is highlighted in the Captain America: Brave New World teaser, but the MCU has already gently sown the seeds of his possible demise. Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, then Secretary of State, disclosed a major health issue in Captain America: Civil War. He mentioned casually having a triple bypass surgery following a heart attack to obtain "perspective".
Then fast forward to Captain America: Brave New World, set several years following Ross's disclosure. Given the great stress Ross's position generates and the natural strain of wielding the Hulk's power, it is quite likely that his heart health has worsened even more.
The MCU's deft hint of Ross's heart condition is a calculated action that might be quite important in the next movie. It begs the issue of how Ross's unstable health would affect his capacity to regulate the overwhelming force of the Hulk.

Harrison Ford is filling in for Thaddeus Ross, thus the movie promises great suspense and dramatic confrontations.
