While it appeared this concept, in that film, could only happen in the realm of a big budget movie set! However, that really has been the inspiration behind an incredibly funny Freevee series, Jury Duty.

What's amazing is this hilarious, refreshing new series really made the story of "The Truman Show," something that people were actually going to get to watch!

The Concept:

It was an era when Jim Carrey became a household name in comedy. It all began as the world learned of his talents and loved watching him work his magic on screen. But "The Truman Show" was completely different! This wasn't a traditional "Carrey" movie! This took us to a life, the day-to-day grind, but a life, not as normal as anyone could have ever guessed!

His character lived an idyllic life with his wife! But things started to feel off and a shocking twist gave his life an epic ending. He learns his whole world had been built for a television audience!
Everyone in the community, that seemed so close to him? Not real at all.

It turns out, Reality TV is full of surprises. In "Jury Duty" they bring to life Ronald Gladden! A person with such an inspiring outlook and completely unaware that he's been thrust into a world full of actors, even as he makes his way as a juror!

But this is a twist on reality. It makes the entire show a work of art! The producers are so creative that they took on an entire Courtroom and placed it in a very real setting, complete with all those memorable Actors that everyone loves.

How They Made It All Happen

In this reality twist, everything gets really creative! They set everything in motion in such a fascinating way!

First up: The cast. What made it even more compelling? Well, they knew just who the main character, the juror who is unknowing, needed to be. The show used the name "hero," referring to Ronald Gladden for all their big plans!
Then there was an even greater challenge to make sure these actors wouldn't stand out too much. So what made things truly great is that it meant finding those actors who are amazing with improv comedy but people might not recognize at first.

In "Jury Duty," what happens is so unusual that it really gets people's attention! There are many crazy events, moments that happen! It doesn't just stop there.

You may also recall James Marsden. Who said it was crazy because Ronald Gladden was given these "bank deposits"!
That may just sound strange to someone who doesn't watch television, but these events were essential! To really pull off such a great story. To create those incredible moments, to pull in these really fun twists, they needed some crazy situations. But to balance this all out, they made sure these real situations occurred, where you would think these events were really happening! That meant days, sometimes nights. For months it went on.
The entire idea is so ridiculous! You may be caught up and think that you're watching something real. However, this entire production created a real court. The most entertaining moment, too! "Jury Duty," they really captured some amazing things to capture. Ronald Gladden was in the perfect position. The whole cast? These actors pulled off these amazing roles that would leave audiences laughing with a real mix of emotions.

And to top it off, a true "Jury Duty." made fans want more! If the producers look to add more seasons there would have to be many changes, especially because the whole thing got a bit more wild as fans became more invested!

Jury Duty- The Next Season Would Be a Difficult Challenge:

A true masterpiece in its own right!

The real courtroom could no longer work for another season!
Those amazing characters would have to be reimagined.
And last but not least, there would have to be a person with incredible personality. The one at the heart of the show. In short: to match what "Ronald Gladden, brought to life, is simply a great, impossible match.

The show has hit the right buttons for viewers to really appreciate this amazing Series! They even have the perfect touch of reality. This might mean there's no need for another season!

But, even with these things in mind "Jury Duty," will keep fans laughing for years to come!

It's just such a great example of the kind of comedic stories that can enter the world with something special, truly memorable that will really stick with you.
