Movies News Talk
Hold onto your hats, Horror fans! Jamie Lee Curtis just dropped a cryptic hint about her future in the Halloween franchise. Even though Halloween Ends was supposed to be Laurie Strode's final showdown with Michael Myers, Curtis told Entertainment Weekly, "Never say never." So, does this mean our favorite final girl might be back for more? While everybody figured this iconic horror and now genre queen extraordinaire having become award recognized officially by all industry and fan entities! Many probably imagined no chance whatsoever after such intense final battle, right? Who among us hasn't experienced something so emotionally grueling before?
Even after such seemingly impossible turn - since its many sequels, Movies overall kept the brand front of mind - especially after Curtis herself had said so many times when even doing new interviews before its release it really should totally finally be it without any room whatsoever or possibility otherwise! Such dedication likely endears further anybody experiencing even remote amounts related through such vicarious feelings!
This isn’t the first time Curtis has returned to the Halloween franchise - her character became iconic across everything! Even the outfits or associated wardrobe pieces associated now are so familiar across its overall Horror fanbase since the originals. Laurie even saw full return recently through its modern movie reboot format sequels - the actress herself even highlighted in several newer interviews how emotional returning felt given its length and intense nature - to finally hang all those character pieces like her familiar button downs. Yet so many fans are used now also to all those twists even over four decades later right?! After Laurie battled Michael over Halloween Ends, everything felt conclusively finally closed off too... so is Curtis just toying everyone or might things actually be real? What of all her related projects, both finished and starting?
Even the planned and now also cancelled planned anthology Halloween based movie and then related follow up even smaller screened limited short Movies based on various elements throughout were thought through since last year’s installment according to the main fan communities!
Curtis first played Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's original Halloween (1978). Then across 7 movie iterations overall from start until her recent reprisal which now seems really truly definitive even! This makes sense also since other creative talent have all mentioned doing everything originally and finally properly also like the score since early mentions by composer John Carpenter in newer media releases all throughout this release cycle. Curtis's reprisal further elevates her status even with now newer related content across different mediums as further increases viewership from different channels that otherwise maybe did not view anything originally in their prior mediums like printed press when News articles were consumed mostly linearly on paper since pre WWW times.. While now any individual or fan base now also sees numerous discussions with fan interpretations even too everywhere imaginable now. The movie also created its new era given so much time elapsed which let an older cast reprise now through her also newly emotionally charged and complex family also for entirely updated emotional arcs!
And even before those updates around Curtis, other recent discussions included mentions of related new Halloween stories as newer headlines showed while this News comes amidst renewed speculation about the franchise. David Gordon Green, after such high fan accolades and engagement as a director also now has a newly started and airing weekly Halloween based horror anthology story airing right now! So no fan rest whatsoever.
Though some also imagined perhaps she Returns even though nothing makes logical narrative sense now - but what about Michael since it takes more than a final fight when horror is involved! The recent film definitely had more story options but nobody actually ever seems to stay entirely "dead" after such endings whether hero, or monster antagonist! Regardless the main news also shows very high popularity even now - making Curtis among one of numerous top tier news headlines this recent week in Hollywood news - not even the main piece in fact if anybody has been following related or overall industry reporting there lately also! Despite being among an ever evolving news landscape, even after 50 years her Laurie's persona now is more in demand for content ever.
While Halloween Ends felt really conclusive - especially given Michael is entirely eliminated even beyond usual horror tropes where the main antagonistic "character" often reanimates after some supposed end! Even the creative talent and director mentioned no chance of anything "Halloween" based again when even writing up plot ideas or scenarios since all thought the story itself finished - yet fans also remain divided as all sides argue around every possible imagined direction with endless comments also online.. Now only two real aspects matter to this question after the news from Curtis’ interview : how is even Michael there? Plus most critically even also, would even Laurie come back after her finally obtained rest? A Sequel will definitely create new discussion with whatever it says or not if only answering questions rather than even any sort of conclusive plot elements there as happens quite a bit in longer story form continuations that need even some minimal reason that does not actually add meaningfully - which is pretty normal also especially within the overall Hollywood formats whether movies, broadcast, TV etc for everything out of all places or creators from there - all being mostly fine too really. A lot is subjective around artistic expression anyhow really since even with whatever, there also seems more new news after Ends.
