It's almost like a total change - that wild Jedi saga, and The Clone Wars - it was amazing! The TV show became an absolute hit!
It was crazy when they decided to bring back the amazing Obi-Wan Kenobi in that Disney+ show - talk about bringing back Star Wars history. The fans went nuts, too! And seeing Hayden Christensen, too, made things so good.

Has Star Wars Made A New Canon Around The Prequels?

The prequels really took center stage in the world of Star Wars: The Clone Wars - the best kind of TV show to learn about the Clone Wars.
Even when they did some amazing shows set before The Phantom Menace, like Star Wars: The Acolyte. Guess what? That ended up tying into The Phantom Menace, just like it had some big nods to the prequels!

Did Star Wars Do Something New with "The Force Awakens?"

That was back in 2015! Disney thought it was time for a brand new start - they even hinted at making it just a total reboot! There was a lot of excitement but those ideas were actually pretty boring for Star Wars fans!
The original movies are awesome, but everyone loved seeing that wild storyline between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, but fans got sick of the idea that Disney Star Wars tried to make "The Force Awakens" like "A New Hope".
And the characters? Rey and Kylo Ren had an incredible connection that actually reminded people of the Skywalker and Vader dynamic. It just wasn't super creative.

The best part is that everyone was super impressed by the TV shows. They created so much depth - it even explained what really happened after The Jedi Order got wrecked during Order 66!

The bottom line: Star Wars has this awesome potential, with so much cool history to work with - The High Republic Era is fascinating, and they haven't really explored the Clone Wars and all those clone troopers! There are those awesome stories from the prequels and they are even more significant - as they helped build the Star Wars universe. So Star Wars needs to be smarter.

The best part? There is more on the way: we can look forward to a brand new movie set 15 years after The Rise of Skywalker. The Star Wars Fandom is gonna be waiting for those details and maybe there will be an all-new set of Star Wars TV Shows, which would totally rock!
