Is Pixar Done Making Original Movies?
No way, you guys. They are super busy! Pixar has been pumping out amazing sequels that totally take over the box office, and recently even broke box office records - but it is super important that Disney Pixar keeps its own unique identity, you know what I mean?! It turns out Disney, Pixar's big boss, understands the need for more original stuff!
Will There Be New Original Pixar Films?
They just unveiled some awesome new Movies during a big Disney event, called D23. It shows they are going to release more amazing stories - we're in luck, for sure. This new one, called Hoppers, is like a total mind-swap comedy - It sounds wild! And we know the Disney Pixar animation is going to be super amazing.
Are Sequels Better?
Sure, sometimes those animated films make tons of money. There's something awesome about a movie we already love, but there's so much more to it! If Disney Animation Studios wants to be top of the heap in the animation industry, it has to create those truly special original animation films that set those high standards. This new one - Hoppers! Looks like they've got this down pat.
Are More Pixar Sequels Coming Out?
- We're getting more Pixar sequels for sure! Who's ready for Toy Story 5? That's pretty amazing. Disney is totally all about bringing out those animated film sequels to those super famous movies, just to rake in the money. It seems like every big hit they do has a sequel!
I am a fan of new, amazing movies. So that new, unique film is awesome! If they want to make sure that they're on top of the game, the next couple of years is super important. Disney has some huge movie competition: Think of Illumination and DreamWorks; they make those awesome films. Disney wants to stay at the top, so they have to get out there and deliver! We love seeing them pushing those creative boundaries!
The animated film industry, those Disney plus films and the big studios in general are going to get more competitive and wild over the next few years! Those Disney Film Franchises are still incredibly successful, and they are totally bringing in the big bucks. But you know - nothing is a given! They gotta come out with some new things too! And Pixar - Pixar is super special. Hopefully, they'll stay at the top of their game!
