Frozen Live-Action: Is Joey King the Perfect Anna?

One of the most well-loved movies that’s been part of Disney’s big-screen moments has to be Frozen. With amazing visuals, heart-warming themes, and memorable characters like Anna, Elsa, Olaf and the charming reindeer Sven. Disney also recently announced a live-action adaptation!

We’re in the midst of so many remakes, but we may have not yet seen some of the favorite characters, come to life on screen for this highly anticipated live-action show, fans are waiting to find out the key parts!

What was the best thing, was Kristen Bell. The star who voiced Anna in the movie, she revealed her personal pick to become the live-action version.

The Perfect Candidate?

Who did she pick to bring Anna to life? Bell shared a little scoop! And as she explained in an Elle magazine interview, she really wants to see Joey King! The talented actress was born back in 1999. Her career got an incredible boost as one of those adorable child actors in the show Horton Hears A Who!.

King, who grew up in front of the camera has now proven herself to be a highly talented, sought-after performer with parts in shows such as "The Kissing Booth," "Bullet Train" and even had a big, exciting appearance in Netflix’s "Uglies!"

Why Joey King Is A Great Fit For Anna:

Fans love how much charm King has! If we talk about big name performers she can do it all, giving us dramatic moments but also being able to show off her hilarious comedic abilities!

King, even though she's in her mid 20s has proven she can be a good choice, giving us more of that charm!
King was even able to convincingly play a 16 year old.
Fans love Anna's whimsical nature and how much King brings that to life!

King looks to be a natural match! And you can see she looks incredibly similar. She even has hair that is a shade of dark blonde and maybe with the right color palette could make her seem closer in style to Anna!

But here's the thing, even with her abilities there's a tiny problem with her age! She's a bit too old for Anna, a character who's just 18. She did great in Uglies! As you saw, but it seems it would take a real special director who's going to have to try hard to bring those child-like characteristics back.

What does it really mean for the world? If Disney got things started for "Frozen". Well, then the age might not be a real concern! But here's the issue.

Disney also talked about "Frozen 4" coming out, but as of right now we know more about the third installation.

The big, bad truth is. There's nothing else in store! It might be tough, as that’s not on the calendar!

There are some great actors, who look like a good choice.

Sabrina Carpenter. A name that really hits that special quality that fans appreciate.
You’ve also got Rowan Blanchard, Kiernan Shipka, and Sadie Sink who may bring that charming charm of Anna!

Even if it does take a long time the new movie, that doesn’t stop the chatter! The release is up in the air! Disney still has plans to put together the movie and a new Frozen is almost inevitable!

With such a big and beloved animated story! Even more, Bell may just be giving everyone the best hint at who may be making it to the big screen soon!

The original tale, by Hans Christian Anderson, takes on an important storyline of the Kingdom of Arendelle. But it truly seems like Anna is a truly iconic figure!

We may have some time before the live-action show actually gets started but there will be much more speculation! So check back, as it's pretty certain "Frozen" will give us another big dose of magic. This makes "Frozen" so much fun and may have fans around the globe eagerly awaiting to find out!
