The movie needs to deal with his situation, even subtly. This could create a memorable tribute for Paul Walker, potentially mirroring that amazing emotional ending in Furious 7. This would honor this beloved character. It's been more than 20 years since Walker's first appearance. Despite his passing, Brian remains a key part of Fast & Furious, creating memories and impacts that could be considered legendary.

This absence initially made sense; the reason was justified, making it a smart story decision, however that strategy alone wouldn't work against that massively problematic situation which emerges within Fast X! The impending ending requires addressing Brian’s fate; a chance for a fitting tribute honoring the man who made it memorable, Paul Walker. Even after such tragedy the character will linger in memories!
