Fanart too metal for Marvel blends two anti-heroes, Venom & Ghost Rider.

Not the First Time the Two Have merged Venom/Ghost Rider Fanart.

Though it isn't the first time fans have seen a Venom/Ghost Rider hybrid, the way it is portrayed in this fanart is far more heavy metal than anything they have seen from a character like this prior. Readers are transported to an other dimension where Robbie Reyes is possessed by both the Venom symbiote and the evil entity that made him a Ghost Rider, therefore transforming him into "Host Rider," during the Edge of Venomverse storyline.

For his enemies, Host Rider was completely horrible because of his several unusual skills. Reyes had a blazing Venom tongue and could wield hellfire in his hands since the Ghost Rider half rendered the symbiote fire impervious. Host Rider also has his own form of the "Penance Stare," known as the "Penance Kiss," which lets him help his victims to shed their sins. His Hellcharger is also Venomized, and even has the capacity to physically consume humans.

Venom is Marvel's New Ghost Rider in Fanart Too Metal for Marvel.

Unquestionably Venom and Ghost Rider are two of the most brutal antiheroes in Marvel Comics history since both mercilessly eradicate evildoers wherever they come across and inspire unmatched fear and absolute despair in those they spare. And now, one piece of Fanart sees the two terrible guardians of the innocent as one terrible entity - and the vision of this merged monster is far too metal for Marvel.

In an Instagram post under user Kode Abdo (handle: @bosslogic), the artist presents one person image of Venom and Ghost Rider. Drizzling spit and hellfire from both their mouths, the Venom symbiote pushes itself over Ghost Rider's burning skull as if swallowing him.

The Ghost Rider/Venom merged with this fanart would be too R-rated for Marvel.

While the artwork of Host Rider in Edge of Venomverse was somewhat light, as is the norm for comics aimed for readers of all ages, the powers and plot of the piece were shockingly terrible. Though fans are not provided any background, the artwork of the Ghost Rider/Venom hybrid shown in this Fanart is quite detailed and shockingly brutal inversely. Fans would be given the most heavy metal form of this hybrid superhero if the graphic style of the fanart combined with the powers and tale of Host Rider; one that would readily be too R-rated for Marvel Comics' regular imprint.

This fanart is on its own merits even without adding background by looking at earlier iterations of a Ghost Rider/Venom hybrid in Marvel Comics since it brings the most violent form of this character to life. Maybe Marvel's main continuity will feature something of this quality—a MAX imprint or something else similar especially for a mature market. Fans should not hold their breath since this Venom/Ghost Rider hybrid fanart is far too metal for Marvel Comics.

Complete with his amazing hellfire claws, Wolverine's Ghost Rider upgrade—the ferociously destructive Hellverine—is making a comeback to Marvel Comics!

While Ghost Rider has been given varied narratives allowing him to appear in the Marvel Universe for decades, including a recent run as a member of the Avengers, Venom has evolved in the comics as a more full character with his own series. Although both are still somewhat nasty figures, they have lately gained popularity and inspired countless followers who have produced artwork based on them, like the one described above.

Fans have the opportunity to view this demon/alien hybrid in action as the Venom/Ghost Rider also seems to be lunging at something or someone. Seeing the Venom symbiote in the middle of being unleashed overtop Ghost Rider is a great detail that makes the fanart more intense. Depicting movement makes the Venom/Ghost Rider lot more terrible than they would be if this was just a still image.
