In "The Cloverfield Paradox," a theory that has many confused, shows a totally different idea: it wasn't that the monster emerged from the water at all. It ended with the implication that a "particle accelerator" had some unintended consequences!

In a world full of science fiction movies that get crazy! It seems like Cloverfield might be too big and out of control, in that regard.
