If you loved 10 Cloverfield Lane, it’s a very different look. The horror, mystery, and a story about a few survivors were some big factors about how audiences responded to the movie. While The Cloverfield Paradox took an even bigger leap into an interdimensional experience! The only issue? No one is sure how they tied the movies together.

If the franchise had more of a direct connection it may have been better, and not have created some huge confusing elements that viewers will question.

There's also the sense that 10 Cloverfield Lane is able to tell its story! What's kind of a letdown? That the previous film didn't offer many of these answers and also left more mystery about the main monster.

The Cloverfield Universe And Its Limitations

If you look back at the history of the Cloverfield franchise! You've probably realized that 10 Cloverfield Lane, and The Cloverfield Paradox aren't fully independent of one another! While you don't necessarily have to watch the original to 10 Cloverfield Lane, there were some key elements that might have connected the stories to give fans a more fulfilling experience.

Even more! "The Cloverfield Paradox" takes it even further!

While the first "Cloverfield" took the view that a monster came out from the ocean to cause all that chaos. In "The Cloverfield Paradox," a theory that has many confused, shows a totally different idea: it wasn't that the monster emerged from the water at all. It ended with the implication that a "particle accelerator" had some unintended consequences!

In a world full of science fiction movies that get crazy! It seems like Cloverfield might be too big and out of control, in that regard.

Cloverfield 2's Biggest Problem:

The new movie that comes out! The film is facing a real challenge! Not only because there's a crazy mix of creatures, timelines, dimensions and all the confusing bits. The series had so much promise back in the original release.

Fans who got a chance to watch this special, unique show back in 2008 loved it. So for anyone who loves Cloverfield 2! Keep in mind that the sequel might be the most difficult movie to write!

It looks like if the writers do decide to dive into other parts of this crazy, convoluted story, it could confuse audiences! One way to really get fans into Cloverfield 2 and potentially make it one of the biggest releases ever is to forget about "10 Cloverfield Lane", and "The Cloverfield Paradox."

A few simple explanations to add even more flavor into this exciting movie! What fans want! Some connection to these previous installments to give us those epic moments but to also not make this film super, over-the-top crazy!

While "10 Cloverfield Lane" was an incredible success for this series, the reality is that "Cloverfield 2" is an opportunity to create an engaging storyline. The fans might have more in common with "Cloverfield". While the universe that is being set out is quite different. The reality is, a great movie, means forgetting those spin offs!

You will likely see new lore that ties into this film, but with so many new twists, Cloverfield 2 could offer the fans a real look into what is next and make this a much-needed, powerful new version that people are going to love. It is not every day that a film receives that opportunity.
