Captain America's Endgame: A Bittersweet Ending And Hidden Tragedies

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is full of powerful heroes, and few are more heroic than Captain America.

One of the more shocking aspects of Avengers: Endgame is the way Captain America's ending played out. Fans, after years of watching him take on one big villain after another, knew that Chris Evans was hanging up his shield!

But it appears that we're seeing some tragic moments as well, and these tragic moments might impact other heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in unexpected ways!

To rewind things back to that big showdown at the end of Avengers: Endgame, Captain America made the ultimate sacrifice. After getting his heart's desire! To live with the love of his life. Fans saw an aging Steve Rogers appear, giving us an insight into where Steve Rogers, might have been! It wasn't just the end of a superhero, but for an entire era that was about fighting for what is right.

A Powerful Force Of Inspiration

If you are a fan of Captain America, you know that this is not about what was a happy ending, and might be what brought on a ton of tragedy, for another powerful figure Thor.

It was back at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. We got to see Thor in one of the more gripping scenes in Marvel movie history as he landed some massive, game-changing blows in the ultimate effort to try and save everyone! The mighty warrior, with his special hammer, struck Thanos.

Fans felt as though it would end Thanos' reign of terror and yet his defeat was impossible as he had completed the task, making Thor question everything that happened, leading him to give in to a state of severe depression.

Captain America's Secret Tragedy:

Now, Steve Rogers is older. What could he have done, as a hero and mentor to so many. It begs the question about why an older Captain America didn't try to give a word of advice to Thor, an old friend who clearly had such a great, important, heroic role, for both the universe and its fate!

If he wanted to, he could have done something for the heroes.

It seems like "The Time Heist" could have resulted in massive impact and in this situation, there were reasons as to why this happened and it would only be an epic, crazy moment to think of a hero going back in time.

It is likely, though, that "The Time Heist", would have broken something that was sacred in the timeline! It may even mean an immense, dangerous impact for the MCU universe.

An Older Captain America's Existence

There are a lot of people who have big dreams and those that look to be the next big thing! This older Steve Rogers, seems to be an unforgettable figure! You know, he exists and there are those who will have a desire to know how the hero lived his life. The MCU doesn't provide too much detail about his journey but there is so much to talk about! You see, "Captain America" has taken on quite the adventure, including the loss of his best friend. That same friend, he assumed was gone, but actually found out he was not. It was an emotional rollercoaster!

The one point to always consider, is how an older "Captain America" may have made some changes to this universe if he saw what happened to younger Steve Rogers. For example, "The Sokovia Accords." These accords changed everything and it seemed that Steve Rogers took an impossible step in defiance of the rules. You could even go on to point out some events. That had to do with Captain America being in "The Avengers", to that battle that resulted in "Civil War!" These big battles would have shown the immense amount of impact!

It would have been a different movie! There's really a great sense of wonder. How a character's actions and the ability to see an impact like this. If they had the ability to jump through the timeline to be a mentor or advisor, might have taken everything down a whole new route. If you want to see more about how these choices impacted those heroes who had some awesome, compelling roles! There's one more part to remember. That is to continue to check out how "Captain America" will continue to appear throughout the "Marvel Cinematic Universe"! And those choices, how it may have created a whole new journey! What stands out? Those who enjoy the MCU can see just how this story plays out, but also think about some alternate realms and what might have been as Steve Rogers was going through these great adventures!
