Many have attacked Star Trek: Discovery for concentrating mostly on Captain Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) and for failing to properly develop the bridge crew members of USS Discovery. Commander Joann Owosokun (Oyin Oladejo).
Lt. Commander Ronald Bryce (Ronnie Rowe, Jr.) and Commander Nilsson (Sara Mitich) two initial members of the USS Discovery's crew moved from Discovery to other starships. But because to Commander Rayner's austere and fast interviews with his new staff, Star Trek: Discovery season five made progress toward viewers knowing the USS Discovery crew better. Lt. Commander Gen Rhys has also been quite exceptional, even leading the USS Discovery against the Breen. It is abundantly evident as the last episode of the series draws to an end the value of the crew's collective experiences. Viewers may see the group take on whatever obstacles present them as they stand together since they have grown to be a real family.
