The Beginnings:

Everything started in 2008 with the short film "The 9th Circle." It was then that Art the Clown first made an appearance, appearing in one small part, making this one of the lesser-known films. It looks to be a quick appearance with lots of different monster characters, it wasn't meant to be an iconic start and you could certainly feel that from what was presented onscreen!

A bigger movie with a bunch of stories, but it isn't the star of the film! All Hallow's Eve, in 2013. While Art takes on the lead in this story as it unfolds, the overall story wasn't really what helped establish Art the Clown. This was a huge missed opportunity as the story focused too much on the wraparound and the stories within weren't all that good either.

What helped make Art the Clown even more well-known and show audiences just what Leone could really bring onscreen was the shorter film Terrifier which came out in 2011! While short in length this movie helps to really set the stage for this character who seems to appear unexpectedly on Halloween. While that was an exciting introduction this shorter version did establish Art the Clown's ability to appear out of nowhere. He also really shows just what kind of vicious attacks this special slasher villain is capable of. And shows his really amazing skills!

The Main Series:

This is where things get crazy with the popularity of the Terrifier franchise really skyrocketing! That really started in 2016. It seems the series truly established what it was all about with Terrifier.

What fans love about it is its raw thrills, an almost no-holds-barred attitude towards extreme violence. If there's something this show has been famous for is being ultra gory and bringing its scares at an intensity only this movie could. Its popularity is a true testament to how far the series could really come!

The violence even impacted the audience to a new level as audiences really did leave the theater because it made them sick to their stomachs. A movie has never gotten to this level before! What's wild? People really kept talking about Terrifier 2, its extreme violence and over the top scenes, turning this movie into a legend! A whole new Terrifier video game has even been confirmed, meaning we're all caught up and anticipating what is next!

A New Threat

It is truly impressive what Terrifier 3 did, a new milestone! It brings more intense action than the original! With tons of intense killings!

Even for people that might get queasy at times. It really shows some clever twists on classics as well. Its special approach at including a special visit from Santa Clause is going to be some of the memorable moments in the series. What helps push this series, to even greater heights. Even those moments that could be really gory. It was one where Damien Leone gave viewers something more than those scenes.

Showing that the battle against Art the Clown might just be a bit more biblical than we could imagine.

The last bit really gives an impressive addition as well. Adding Vicky who could even be the new "Harley Quinn to Art the Clown's Joker."

It was even better because it seems there are forces that fans could never guess before!

The Best Of Art The Clown

As this franchise grows even larger. There's a huge standout Terrifier 2, from 2022, this one truly changed things. If there's anything fans couldn't help but appreciate it's how incredibly "well-made the story actually was. While there is always going to be fans arguing that more gore is always better!

Terrifier 2 had the most memorable and talked-about parts. "The bedroom scene, this alone had plenty of people walk out!

There's nothing like a fantastic villain and heroine that helps push a storyline like "Art the Clown and Sienna Shaw! And as the stories keep developing. These unforgettable and memorable characters look to get even more powerful!

The latest installments left the door completely open for "Art The Clown" to reappear, in whatever terrifying and thrilling ways!

If there is something everyone seems to want, it's another glimpse into how frightening this awesome killer clown really is.
