"Salem's Lot" follows Ben Mears as a man who is searching for inspiration. He finds a place where he lived as a child but this home town has gone through some terrifying, nightmarish transformations, meaning that the evil vampires took over the town! He finds himself in the fight for his life!
Salem's Lot's History:
While the original novel "Salem's Lot" first arrived in 1975. There are quite a few instances of places and events that show up throughout the author's series!
- A few fans may recognize this place, a town called Jerusalem's Lot but it was more so that this location is one of those that didn't appear in a variety of books, such as Castle Rock and Derry, the most memorable in all of Stephen King's world.
But just as these other iconic locations that pop up all throughout his universe, Jerusalem's Lot and "Salem's Lot also were used in a ton of these works.

Stephen King, in his brilliance and amazing imagination, brought the story together as characters moved through other tales, such as "The Dark Tower," and helped to develop a very memorable priest that has an awesome, epic story.
For fans of "Salem's Lot" it is going to be really hard not to spot this great character.
- Father Donald Callahan ! The Dark Tower series is such a memorable journey! It includes an arc where we see this priest who once tried to bring to an end all of the evil and is in "Wolves Of The Calla." And just to put this story in order, the book first came out in 2003.
If you read "Salem's Lot," you know that Father Callahan was truly a character to follow as his faith had dwindled after a confrontation with "Kurt Barlow." This ultimately resulted in him having to be turned by Kurt Barlow and is trapped with this haunting experience! The story picks up where this character was stuck, and as Father Callahan, goes from having no hope to discovering an ability to really defeat vampires!
