Watching Movies is always fun! But, you gotta be honest. Sometimes those plot twists - those super weird cliffhangers, those crazy scenes - can drive us crazy! The makers of those movies are big on giving us the unexpected, which might just be their goal. They love leaving things mysterious!
But How Come Movies Don't Answer All Our Questions?
It seems they leave stuff open, like a giant box of unanswered riddles! Think about it - those "best movie plot twists" - can be great - but there's no explanation! Some movies leave those twists out to create this amazing "mystery". That's just how ambiguous endings work, so we can't help but imagine those movie characters living a thousand different possible lives - which can be super intriguing. We get to think about them even after the movie's over!
What are the worst parts of unanswered questions?
- It can get annoying when we are left hanging! Maybe it makes those movies that left you wanting more become just a bunch of frustrating movies! Especially if those unanswered mysteries make no sense and we are totally stuck with these movie mysteries unsolved.
- Some directors love that mystery - which, sure, can add to those best movie mysteries, and make us super excited to dive deeper into movies with open endings! But if there are some truly unresolved questions - then it feels like those movies that disappointed you!

So let's break it down: You’ve gotta know that "Blade Runner" has a ton of "what-ifs," like, what's the deal with that detective, Deckard - is he a robot or a human? That's a super tough question, even if you watch the whole "Blade Runner" franchise! The director and the star don't even agree on what happened! So there is nothing you can really take away! It seems like it was an unfinished idea that no one even tried to fix.
- What was the true purpose of the veil in Harry Potter?! The one that took Sirius to his demise, because it’s totally a mysterious death! Nobody really knows!
- "V For Vendetta"'s big question was all about V! Who was the masked vigilante? Fans love to figure out movie villains - it’s super engaging - but, sadly, we are left in the dark with this one.
- Was Ray a ghost in In Bruges?! If that scene with those gunshot wounds was real, the story makes no sense. If not, then that whole thing with suicide never had any impact!
- Those usual suspects in "The Usual Suspects" made for a truly great story with that surprise ending but, who really was the guy pulling the strings? You don't really get to see if Verbal was telling the truth about how those events unfolded. It was more of a trick, to be honest! We know we'll probably never know all of the details!
- What is the narrator's real name in "Fight Club"? You just don't get a clue!
- And there are a whole bunch more! Joker's fate? Those amazing fights at Avengers Tower! We know it's super confusing!
The real problem is that a few movies, some of those great ones, even some that got all the awards and praise - sometimes those amazing movies aren't totally tied up! You get a lot of movie mysteries unsolved that drive fans totally crazy, with that lack of closure.
